Cookie Policy
This Cookie Notice explains how Propertyfinder FZ-LLC and its group companies (“Property Finder”, “we“, “us“, and “ours“) use cookies and similar technologies to recognise your device when you visit our website (https://www.propertyfinder.ae) or mobile application (collectively our “Services“). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, as well as your rights to control our use of them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed and stored on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or mobile application.
The cookies we set on our website are called “first party cookies”. Cookies placed on our website by third parties are called “third party cookies”. Third party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through our Services (for example advertising, performance measurement, analytics, interactive content and social sharing). The parties that set these third party cookies will be able to recognise your device both when it visits the website or application in question and also when it visits other websites that have partnered with them.
Different cookies have different durations. Session cookies, for example, are cookies that last as long as your online session, and will automatically expire from your computer or device after you end your browsing session and close your browser or application.
Persistent cookies, by contrast, are cookies that will remain on your computer or device after your browsing session has finished. These cookies are required to enable a website or application operator recognise your device across different browsing sessions.
Depending on the cookie, some may last only a few seconds, whereas others may last a few days, months, or even over a year after your browsing session has finished.
Why do we use cookies?
We use first party and third party cookies for several reasons. Some cookies are required for technical reasons and are strictly necessary for our Services to operate. We refer to these as “essential” cookies. Other cookies are used to provide Service functionality, insights and analysis into how our Services are performing and being used, or to enhance users’ experience by providing personalised content and advertising. We refer to these cookies as “non-essential” cookies.
The specific types of first party and third party cookies served through our Services and the purposes they perform are described in more detail in the table below.

What about other tracking technologies?
Cookies are not the only way to recognise or track visitors or users of our Services. We may use from time to time other similar technologies such as web beacons (sometimes called “tracking pixels” or “clear gifs”), or JavaScript (placed within the code of our website, which activate when you request an HTML page with JavaScript in it).
Web beacons are tiny graphics files that contain a unique identifier that enable your device to be recognised. Like cookies, they may enable us to recognise when someone has visited or used our Services, clicked certain links, or opened an e-mail that we have sent them. These technologies allow us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within our website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to our website from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve website performance, and to measure the success of e-mail marketing campaigns.
Other technologies include advertising identifiers which are unique identifiers stored on your device and which enable your device to be recognised by us and third parties for personalised advertising and ad measurement purposes. If you use an Apple device, your advertising identifier is referred to as an “IDFA”. If you use an Android device, your advertising identifier is referred to as a “GAID”.
If you wish to opt out of the use of these tracking pixels please adjust your browser settings or refer to the section “How can I control cookies?” below. Please note that in many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will often impair their functioning.
Interest-based advertising (IBA)
Interest-based advertising (IBA) allows us to deliver targeted advertising to users of our Services. IBA works by showing you advertisements that are based on the type of content you access or read. For example, as you browse our services, one of the cookies placed on your device will be an advertising cookie so we can better understand what sort of pages or content you are interested in. The information collected about your device enables us to group you with other devices that have shown similar interests. We can then display advertising to categories of users that is based on common interests.
If you want to opt out of receiving interest-based advertising, it does not mean that you will no longer receive advertising when you are using our Services. It just means that we will not use information collected about you for IBA and that any advertising you see will not be customized or relevant to you. Please note that if you delete cookies, use a different device, or change web browsers, you may need to opt out again.
Mobile devices have an identifier that gives companies the ability to serve targeted ads to a specific mobile device. In many cases, you can turn off mobile device ad tracking or you can reset the advertising identifier at any time within your mobile device privacy settings. You may also choose to turn off location tracking on your mobile device. If you turn off ad tracking or location tracking, we will no longer use information collected from your device’s advertising identifier for the purposes of advertising. You may still see the same number of ads, but they may be less relevant because they will not be based on your interests.
Third party advertisers
We allow third party advertising networks to serve advertisements on our behalf. Third party advertisers may place cookies on the browsers of visitors to its website(s) and may send its own cookies to the visitors’ cookie file. The cookies will allow these third-party advertisers to apply their personalized retargeting technology and to serve personalized advertisements. Please note that third party advertisers will have their own privacy policies, and these will be available on their websites.
How can I control cookies?
Essential cookies that are strictly necessary to the functioning of our Services cannot be rejected. Nevertheless, you have the right to accept or reject cookies that are non-essential. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through our cookie banner / cookie consent management platform (CMP).
You can also configure your cookie preferences via the privacy settings on your web browser. Since the way you can refuse cookies through your web browser settings vary from browser-to-browser, you should visit your browser’s help menu for more information. You will need to adjust the privacy settings on both your browser and your device. If you only adjust the privacy settings on your browser and not the privacy settings on your device, your device will continue to collect data, and vice versa.
In addition, if you would like to find out more information about targeted advertising choices, please visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or http://www.youronlinechoices.com.
Please note that if you choose to reject certain non-essential cookies, you may still use our Services, however, your access to some functionality and areas of our Services may be limited or not function properly.
