Balquhidder Station is a small country hamlet just to the north of Strathyre and east of Balquhidder.Balquhidder is famed as - Rob Roy Country - and Rob Roy's grave is in the Balquhidder churchyard. The Braes of Balquhidder are the ancient lands of the MacLaren and McGregor clans. The area has an active local community centred on the village hall.
